What is Body Contouring

How Body Contouring Treatments Work

Body contouring treatments use advanced energy-based technology to permanently eliminate fat cells and restructure tissue beneath the skin—delivering precise, measurable results without surgery.

Effective Solutions

ADVANCED BODY CONTOURING

Every body responds differently to contouring treatments. We assess your fat distribution, skin quality, and aesthetic goals to design a tailored plan—combining proven technologies for visible, lasting improvement with minimal downtime.

CoolSculpting

Freeze and permanently eliminate stubborn fat cells through controlled cryolipolysis technology—FDA-cleared for abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, back, and under the chin. Dead fat cells are naturally processed and removed by your body over 8-12 weeks.

Cellulite Reduction Treatments

Advanced radiofrequency microneedling (Profound RF) targets fibrous bands beneath the skin while stimulating collagen and elastin production. Smooth dimpled texture on thighs, buttocks, and hips with visible improvement after a single treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Body Contouring

How does body contouring differ from weight loss?

Body contouring eliminates localized fat deposits in specific areas resistant to diet and exercise. It’s not a weight-loss solution but a sculpting tool for patients near their ideal weight who want to refine stubborn zones.

Ideal candidates are within 20 pounds of their goal weight, maintain healthy lifestyle habits, have realistic expectations, and want to target specific fat deposits or cellulite that won’t respond to exercise alone.

CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared for abdominal fat reduction and permanently eliminates fat cells in treated areas. Your consultation will determine if this or a combination approach best suits your anatomy and goals.

Yes. Profound RF microneedling specifically targets the fibrous bands causing cellulite dimpling while stimulating collagen production for smoother, firmer skin texture. Most patients see improvement after one treatment.

CoolSculpting results are permanent—destroyed fat cells don’t regenerate. However, maintaining results requires stable weight and healthy habits. Cellulite reduction and skin tightening results can last 1-3+ years depending on lifestyle factors.

CoolSculpting results emerge gradually over 8-12 weeks as your body processes eliminated fat cells. Cellulite reduction becomes visible 6-8 weeks post-treatment, with continued improvement over 3-6 months as collagen remodels.

CoolSculpting treats abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, back fat, bra bulge, and under the chin. Profound RF addresses cellulite on thighs, buttocks, hips, and arms. Skin tightening works on most body areas with mild laxity.

Yes. Men commonly treat stubborn abdominal fat, love handles, and chest areas with CoolSculpting. Body contouring is effective for all genders seeking to refine resistant fat deposits and improve body definition.

CoolSculpting freezes and permanently destroys fat cells. RF treatments use heat to reduce fat while simultaneously tightening skin and improving texture. Both are non-invasive; your goals determine the best approach.

Angel Croce, Staff Manager at Colorado Skin & Vein in Denver

Angel Croce

Staff Manager

Angel has been in healthcare for more than 20 years. Her journey began in 2004, after her father suddenly passed away from a stroke. Losing him was a life-changing experience, and it inspired her to choose a career where she could help others and give patients and their families the care, compassion, and support they need during difficult times.

Throughout her career she has worked across cardiology, neurology, family practice, and urgent care — each experience helping her grow both personally and professionally. She now works in vascular care and aesthetics, where she enjoys building relationships with her patients, helping them understand their care, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Angel is a proud mom of two. Family is incredibly important to her, and in her spare time she loves being outdoors with her husband and their two dogs — hunting, fishing, and enjoying Colorado.

For Angel, healthcare is more than a career — it is personal. What started as a way to honor her father’s memory has become more than two decades of caring for others, and she is grateful to keep doing something that means so much to her every day.
