Cellulite Reduction Treatments

Freeze away stubborn fat permanently with advanced body contouring—no surgery, no downtime, just proven results in the areas that bother you most.
Understanding Cellulite Reduction

Treating Cellulite at the Source

Cellulite affects over 90% of women, appearing as dimpled skin on the thighs, buttocks, and hips—not from excess weight, but from how fat is structured beneath the skin. Fibrous bands tether skin to muscle, creating pockets where fat bulges through, producing the characteristic “cottage cheese” appearance.

Profound® RF by Candela targets cellulite where it forms. Using precision microneedles, the device delivers controlled radiofrequency energy deep into the subcutaneous fat layer—the exact location of those fibrous bands. The heat breaks down rigid bands while simultaneously stimulating collagen and elastin production, tightening skin from within for smoother, firmer contours.

At Colorado Skin & Vein, Dr. Verebelyi brings over 20 years of advanced laser and energy-based treatment expertise to every Profound® procedure, ensuring precise technique, optimal temperature control, and natural-looking results.

Common Questions

MINT PDO Thread Lifts FAQ

Can cellulite go away on its own?
No. Cellulite results from structural issues beneath the skin that don’t respond to weight loss, exercise, or topical creams. Professional treatment targets the root cause.
Profound® RF is an FDA-cleared radiofrequency microneedling device that delivers controlled heat energy deep into skin layers where cellulite forms, breaking down fibrous bands while stimulating collagen production.
Fine needles penetrate to precise depths, delivering radiofrequency energy that heats tissue to exact temperatures. This melts restrictive bands causing dimpling and triggers collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production for firmer, smoother skin.
Yes. Clinical studies demonstrate a 94% response rate for cellulite improvement. It’s the only FDA-cleared temperature-controlled RF device clinically proven to reduce cellulite.
Results typically last up to three years. Individual outcomes depend on age, skin quality, lifestyle, and natural aging processes.
No. We use topical numbing cream followed by local injectable anesthesia to ensure complete comfort during treatment. Most patients experience no pain during the procedure.
Most healthy adults bothered by cellulite are good candidates. A consultation with Dr. Verebelyi determines if Profound® RF is right for your goals and anatomy.
CoolSculpting freezes fat cells in larger areas but doesn’t treat cellulite. Profound® RF uses heat energy to target cellulite structure while reducing small, localized fat pockets and tightening skin.
Yes. Radiofrequency energy stimulates collagen and elastin production, which improves skin firmness and elasticity while reducing cellulite.

Angel Croce, Staff Manager at Colorado Skin & Vein in Denver

Angel Croce

Staff Manager

Angel has been in healthcare for more than 20 years. Her journey began in 2004, after her father suddenly passed away from a stroke. Losing him was a life-changing experience, and it inspired her to choose a career where she could help others and give patients and their families the care, compassion, and support they need during difficult times.

Throughout her career she has worked across cardiology, neurology, family practice, and urgent care — each experience helping her grow both personally and professionally. She now works in vascular care and aesthetics, where she enjoys building relationships with her patients, helping them understand their care, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Angel is a proud mom of two. Family is incredibly important to her, and in her spare time she loves being outdoors with her husband and their two dogs — hunting, fishing, and enjoying Colorado.

For Angel, healthcare is more than a career — it is personal. What started as a way to honor her father’s memory has become more than two decades of caring for others, and she is grateful to keep doing something that means so much to her every day.
