Understanding Skin Rejuvenation

The Science Behind Skin Renewal

Skin rejuvenation encompasses a range of advanced, non-surgical treatments designed to reverse visible signs of aging, sun damage, and textural irregularities. These medical-grade procedures address wrinkles, loss of firmness, uneven pigmentation, enlarged pores, and dullness by stimulating the skin’s natural healing response—triggering collagen production, cellular turnover, and tissue remodeling.

At Colorado Skin & Vein, every skin rejuvenation treatment is performed by Dr. David Verebelyi and Christina Jordan, FNP, CANS—specialists with over 20 years of expertise in laser medicine and aesthetic procedures. Using state-of-the-art technology including fractional lasers, radiofrequency microneedling, and FDA-cleared devices, we deliver measurable improvements in skin quality with minimal downtime and natural-looking results tailored to your unique concerns and goals.

Common Questions

Your Skin Rejuvenation Questions Answered

What is skin rejuvenation?
Skin rejuvenation refers to non-surgical treatments that improve skin texture, tone, and firmness by stimulating collagen production and cellular renewal. These medical-grade procedures address wrinkles, sun damage, scarring, pigmentation, and loss of elasticity using advanced laser, radiofrequency, and energy-based technologies.
Most healthy adults concerned about visible signs of aging, sun damage, texture irregularities, or loss of firmness are good candidates. During your consultation, we’ll evaluate your skin condition, medical history, and aesthetic goals to determine which treatments are appropriate and safe for you.
Skin rejuvenation treatments address fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots and hyperpigmentation, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, dullness, mild to moderate skin laxity, and superficial vascular concerns. Multiple treatments can be combined for comprehensive facial renewal.
Yes. Combining treatments often achieves more comprehensive rejuvenation. For example, thread lifts can be paired with microneedling to address both lifting and texture. Laser treatments can be combined with injectables for complete facial renewal. Your specialist will design a safe, effective combination plan during your consultation.

Angel Croce, Staff Manager at Colorado Skin & Vein in Denver

Angel Croce

Staff Manager

Angel has been in healthcare for more than 20 years. Her journey began in 2004, after her father suddenly passed away from a stroke. Losing him was a life-changing experience, and it inspired her to choose a career where she could help others and give patients and their families the care, compassion, and support they need during difficult times.

Throughout her career she has worked across cardiology, neurology, family practice, and urgent care — each experience helping her grow both personally and professionally. She now works in vascular care and aesthetics, where she enjoys building relationships with her patients, helping them understand their care, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Angel is a proud mom of two. Family is incredibly important to her, and in her spare time she loves being outdoors with her husband and their two dogs — hunting, fishing, and enjoying Colorado.

For Angel, healthcare is more than a career — it is personal. What started as a way to honor her father’s memory has become more than two decades of caring for others, and she is grateful to keep doing something that means so much to her every day.
