Patient Coordinator

Our well-established, 20+ year vascular surgery practice in South Denver is thriving and growing — and we’re looking for a Patient Coordinator to help us elevate the patient experience while optimizing our surgical schedule.

What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for patients via phone and email — turning inquiries into evaluations
- Coordinate insurance authorizations and surgical scheduling
- Guide patients through financial options, insurance coverage, and treatment planning
- Ensure pre-operative and follow-up appointments are scheduled seamlessly
- Collect payments and review procedure consents
- Deliver exceptional post-procedure care and support
- Monitor billing accuracy and maintain accounts receivable goals
- Keep the surgical schedule full and running efficiently
- Be a valued part of a passionate, patient-first team
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years experience in prior authorizations, medical billing, and patient scheduling
- EMR proficiency (Athena experience a plus)
- Excellent communication skills — confident and compassionate
- Highly organized and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience with Care Credit and a track record of closing consultations is a big plus
- Previous experience in vascular or plastic surgery practices is preferred
