Join a respected physician-led specialty practice where Medical Assistants work directly with providers and play a central role helping patients move from consultation to treatment in a procedural vascular clinic setting.
Unlike large hospital systems, our team works in a focused clinical environment with less bureaucracy, strong provider collaboration, and meaningful ownership of patient care coordination. Colorado Skin & Vein has served the South Denver community for nearly 20 years and is known regionally for vascular and laser specialty care in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

Role Overview
This role combines clinical assisting with coordination of the prior authorizations that allow patients to receive vascular procedures. Prior authorization experience is highly valued because this position plays a central role in keeping procedures scheduled and patients moving forward with treatment.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Vitals and medical histories
- Documentation support
- Medical photography
- Procedure room setup and turnover
- Sterile processing and instrumentation handling
- Pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Patient discharge and education
- Assist providers during in-office procedures
This role requires strong organization, reliability, and comfort working directly with providers in a procedural setting.
Ideal Background
Minimum 2 years medical assisting experience required. Prior authorization experience for procedures strongly preferred. Strong candidates may have experience in:
- Vascular clinics
- Dermatology or plastics
- Procedural specialties
- Interventional practices
- Surgical assisting
- Prior authorization coordination for procedures
