Profound RF Microneedling

Transform sagging skin without surgery—one precision treatment triggers your body’s natural healing to rebuild collagen, tighten contours, and reveal lasting, youthful radiance.
Understanding RF Microneedling

How Profound RF Microneedling Works

Profound RF combines radiofrequency energy with ultrafine microneedles to deliver controlled heat deep into the dermis—the foundational layer where aging begins. This triggers your body’s natural production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, tightening and smoothing skin from within.

The only FDA-cleared, temperature-controlled RF microneedling device clinically proven to rebuild all three essential skin proteins in a single treatment. Real-time monitoring ensures precise energy delivery at optimal depths for predictable, transformative results.

At Colorado Skin & Vein, Dr. Verebelyi leverages over 20 years of energy-based expertise to customize every treatment for safe, effective outcomes tailored to your unique skin.

Common Questions

Microneedling FAQ

How is Profound RF different from regular microneedling?
Profound delivers temperature-controlled RF energy through microneedles, reaching deeper skin layers to trigger more robust collagen remodeling. It’s the only RF microneedling device FDA-cleared to rebuild all three essential skin proteins in one treatment.
Local numbing cream and anesthetic injections minimize discomfort. Most patients report only mild pressure during treatment. Post-procedure tenderness is manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.
Most patients achieve dramatic results with a single Profound RF treatment. Some may benefit from a second session at 6-12 months for additional improvement or maintenance.
Initial improvements appear at 6-8 weeks. Optimal results develop over 3-6 months as new collagen and elastin form. Skin continues improving for up to a year post-treatment.
Results typically last 12-18+ months. Some patients maintain benefits for several years. Maintenance treatments can extend longevity. Individual results vary based on age, skin condition, and lifestyle factors.
Expect mild swelling, redness, and pinpoint bleeding for 2-3 days. Most patients return to normal activities within 5-7 days. Makeup can be applied after 2-3 days to conceal residual redness.
Yes. Profound RF is FDA-cleared for cellulite reduction with a 94% clinical response rate. It tightens skin and smooths dimpling on thighs, buttocks, and other body areas.
Ideal candidates have mild to moderate skin laxity, wrinkles, or cellulite and want non-surgical improvement. Good overall health and realistic expectations are essential. Not suitable for patients with pacemakers, defibrillators, or active skin infections.

Angel Croce, Staff Manager at Colorado Skin & Vein in Denver

Angel Croce

Staff Manager

Angel has been in healthcare for more than 20 years. Her journey began in 2004, after her father suddenly passed away from a stroke. Losing him was a life-changing experience, and it inspired her to choose a career where she could help others and give patients and their families the care, compassion, and support they need during difficult times.

Throughout her career she has worked across cardiology, neurology, family practice, and urgent care — each experience helping her grow both personally and professionally. She now works in vascular care and aesthetics, where she enjoys building relationships with her patients, helping them understand their care, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Angel is a proud mom of two. Family is incredibly important to her, and in her spare time she loves being outdoors with her husband and their two dogs — hunting, fishing, and enjoying Colorado.

For Angel, healthcare is more than a career — it is personal. What started as a way to honor her father’s memory has become more than two decades of caring for others, and she is grateful to keep doing something that means so much to her every day.
