The Difference Between Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers
Jeuveau™ has emerged as a longer-lasting, more cost effective treatment for forehead wrinkles, brow furrows, and crow’s feet than Botox®. Jeuveau™’s refined formula has satisfied patients for up to 5 months or longer in a head-to-head study with Botox® while being less expensive to ship. Similar to Botox® it blocks neurotransmitter signals to the muscles of the forehead, brows, and around the eyes to prevent muscle movement from creating and deepening wrinkles.
Dermal fillers such as Revanesse® Versa™ are gels made of hyaluronic acid (HA) molecules which fill in wrinkles, nasolabial folds, and add volume to cheeks and thin lips which have succumbed to gravity. Versa’s™ profound difference from products like Juvéderm® is in the shape of the HA molecules. Through a proprietary wet milling process, Versa™’s HA molecules are spherical, which improves integration with tissues to reduce swelling by up to 24%. Results are natural and can last up to 12 months or more. Priced less than other fillers, Versa™ is a better value toward your investment in yourself.

With all HA molecule based fillers, the gel eventually breaks down and is absorbed by the body. The more movement in the treatment area, especially around the mouth, the faster the body is able to metabolize the gel. By treating the area with Jeuveau™ and then Versa™, muscle movement is restricted while volume is added to smooth lines and wrinkles and fill in hollow areas. Studies show the combination of treatments prolongs both medications’ effects.
