JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC is an anti-aging treatment that can fill in moderate to severe wrinkles and lines that appear on the face due to aging. Like other JUVÉDERM® fillers, JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC contains hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally within healthy, plump skin, and when it is injected, it improves skin hydration and fills in hollows, creases, and lines. The main use of JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC is to fill in facial lines and wrinkles and to smooth parentheses lines (nasolabial folds).

Using innovative VYCROSS® technology, JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC combines differing weights of hyaluronic acid to increase its duration so that the results last longer than typical dermal fillers. Patient satisfaction rates in clinical trials were also high, with 68 percent claiming satisfaction after 18 months. While JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC, a similar product to VOLLURE™, is proven to last up to two years, it is generally used to lift and contour the cheeks.
