DAVID M. VEREBELYI, MD

Dr. Verebelyi (pronounced “verbally”) has been working with lasers since he received his undergraduate degree. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Minor in Psychology after three and a half years from the Missouri School of Science and Technology. From there, he worked as a Biochemist for two years before entering medical school. After graduating from St. George’s University School of Medicine with Honors, he went on to the University of Connecticut for residency training in Family Medicine. Since residency, Dr. Verebelyi has received board-certification from both the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
Dr. Verebelyi is a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) He has been an instructor for several ASLMS courses including helping develop and co-chair the fundamentals course. He has also served as a presenter for topics such as hair removal and light-based treatment for primary care providers. At ASLMS Dr. Verebelyi was active in the strategic planning committee, young professional task force, online content committee, selection committee and a regular content provider to the society. Colorado Skin & Vein is an ASLMS preceptor site and Dr. Verebelyi has trained many of the top professionals in the field. He is onsite at Colorado Skin & Vein every day and personally performs many of the treatments.
Dr. Verebelyi – Expert Witness
Dr. Verebelyi is a seasoned expert witness. He works with law firms all over the US. He was one of the original developers and a past Chairman of the Fundamentals of Lasers Course given by the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). Dr. Verebelyi is also one of the instructors for Laser Hair Removal, Lasers in Primary Care and author of the National Industry Safety Course all given by the ASLMS which makes him one of only a handful of doctors in the US with this type of experience. He is able to elucidate all the possible factors and most likely causes of a bad outcome. His opinions are backed by medical literature and over a decade of personal hands-on experience. Dr. Verebelyi understands the subtleties that go along with this type of legal work. He is both quick to turn around information and sensitive to scheduling issue with depositions as well as trials. He has personally performed or overseen over 10,000 hair removal procedures over 2,000 vascular and resurfacing procedures as well thousands of others.
