What Is The Microneedling With SkinPen® Procedure Like?
The SkinPen® is moved across the treatment site at a speed of 100 stamps per second, potentially creating 1600+ microchannels on your skin. This creation of microchannels stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin, making your skin look and feel healthier. Where SkinPen® differs from other microneedling treatments is its unique technology that allows us to reach places that other similar devices are unable to. It uses a vertical needle delivery with variable needle depth, making it an appropriate procedure for multiple areas of the body with varying skin thicknesses.
The procedure typically takes approximately 30 minutes, though this differs depending on the size of the treatment site and the condition being treated. Most patients require three treatments, each spaced four weeks apart. The total number of procedures needed will be determined during your consultation.
