We care deeply about the community we serve and are dedicated to making it better. To that end, we have committed to giving back on a local, regional and even global level. Along with supporting multiple local schools and organizations, we also support several regional and international organizations.
FOOD BANK OF THE ROCKIES
Food Bank of the Rockies was founded in 1978 and was known as the Colorado Food Clearing House. Today it has extended its reach across Northern Colorado and Wyoming, providing food supplies to more than 1100 hunger-relief programs. In its first 30 years, FBR has provided nearly 325 million pounds of food to their member agencies, which translates to more than 250 million meals for people in need. Last year, they distributed more than 26 million pounds of food, enough to provide more than 56,000 meals each day to children, seniors, and families in need. FBR is a member of Feeding America.
Each year, from November to January, we run a food drive in our office. You can give a donation of food or money to the Food Bank. For each non-perishable food item that you bring in, we will take $1 off your bill, up to $50. Last year, we gave more than 400 lbs of food along with a cash donation. This year our goal is to double that amount!
HOPE SHINES
Hope Shines is a mentoring program dedicated to enhancing the lives of orphaned children. Every year we sponsor physicians by providing medical supplies for their trips to Rwanda, where they spend several weeks providing basic medical care to several orphanages.
PROJECT C.U.R.E.
Project C.U.R.E. (Commission on Urgent Relief & Equipment) was founded in 1987 to help meet the need for medical supplies, equipment, and services in the U.S. and around the world. Project C.U.R.E. builds sustainable healthcare infrastructure by providing the medical supplies and equipment that medical personnel need to deliver health care to their communities. Since its inception, it has delivered medical relief to needy people in more than 120 countries and every year we donate much needed supplies to their cause.
