Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags (acrochordons) are benign growths that often occur in areas of friction such as the groin, under the arms, and around the neckline. Depending upon the size and shape of the skin tag, your dermatologist may remove these lesions by one of the following methods:

  • Snip excision (with or without lidocaine, depending upon the size)
  • Shave removal (with or without lidocaine, depending upon the size)
  • Cryotherapy
